The direct selling in Malaysia has been adopting all the impactful and traditional direct selling methods—person-to-person, party plan, and online. The year 2020 saw a steep increase in the adoption of the online model amidst the spreading pandemic.

However, person-to-person and party plan methods saw a dip in 2020 amidst the sanctions imposed by the government and the people gripped in the fear of contracting the disease. The year 2019 set a perfect contrast with all except the online model witnessing a decrease in adoption.
