Chile has always been known as a business-friendly place and for good reason. Chile enjoys a strategic location along the Pacific coast that naturally serves as an access route for global business. High-performing network marketing companies worldwide are fast at grabbing new opportunities all over Chile. And with access to both local and global markets, the possibilities are vast.
The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA) reports that MLM Chile brings in around $458 million annually. Sure, there was an 2.4% drop in sales in 2024, but the multi-level marketing (MLM) market is still packed with potential. For MLM entrepreneurs who are ready to adapt and make the most of new opportunities, there’s still plenty of room to grow in this dynamic, ever-evolving market.
In Chile, there are 363,287 active direct sellers. 82% of them are women and 18% are men. 76% of total retail sales of the Chile direct selling industry came from the cosmetics and personal care sector, 10% came from the home care sector and 7% came from the wellness sector . The market penetration rate of Chile is 0.139%, which falls under the high penetration category.

Quotes from the leaders of Chile MLM companies
As technology continues to create opportunities and disruptions, I believe the future of direct selling will have to be centered around community and the social dynamic in our businesses. Great products, compelling income opportunities, competitive customer and representative experiences will continue to be basic requirements, but the community and social experiences we offer can be real differentiators. John Parker, Amway Chief Sales Officer
Through our transformation, we are equipping and supporting our distributors to grow stronger businesses—supporting progress today and building a clear path to sustainable growth and long-term shareholder value. Stephan Gratziani, Herbalife CEO
We’re confident this technology will help simplify and supercharge social selling for millions of Nu Skin brand affiliates. Ryan Napierski, President and Chief Executive Officer of Nu Skin
Taking things to future, sales are expected to modestly increase in 2024 according to DSA. “To achieve success in this field, a combination of social network interactions and face-to-face selling is essential. Those who integrate both approaches tend to achieve better results compared to independent distributors who rely solely on one of those channels for sales.” And direct sales Chile is all set to respond to the increasing demand for healthier and more environmentally friendly products.
