Life cycle assessment for sustainable products
These days consumers are becoming more concerned about the sustainability of the products and the brand they trust. In this background, Amorepacific is so focused on understanding the environmental impact of its products. To support this effort, the company is conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) that examine the environmental effects of a product at every stage of its life. This includes raw material sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, product use, and final disposal. The assessments evaluate 16 different environmental impact areas which includes the Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) as well. They also follow international standards such as ISO 14040, 14044, and 14067 to make sure that the results are reliable and globally recognized.
