DSA Canada brings industry together at Connect 2026


The Direct Selling Association of Canada hosted a grand event at the Pearle Hotel in Burlington, Ontario with leaders, executives, and partners of various direct selling companies from across Canada. The event witnessed networking moments and educational keynotes on emerging trends in direct selling.

The speakers included Olympic gold medalist Alex Kopacz, AI expert Dan Debnam, World Federation of Direct Selling Associations Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer Shaila Manyam and Chief Commercial Officer of USANA, Brent Neidig. Keynotes on topics related to compensation plan optimization and implementing practical technology applications were delivered.

Connect 2026 also hosted the Awards Gala to honor direct selling companies and executives for their contributions to the industry and the community.

Herbalife India partners with IIT Madras for plant cell fermentation research


Herbalife India announced the launch of its Centre of Excellence in partnership with Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. This initiative focuses on research and innovation in plant cell fermentation and the hub will serve as a development center for advanced plant-based health and wellness products.

The Centre will develop new plant cell fermentation technologies that can be used by various industries. It also aims to train students, researchers, and professionals with advanced skills in plant cell fermentation. The hub will also be beneficial in positioning India as a global leader in commercial plant cell fermentation and sustainable manufacturing.

Professor Ashwin Mahalingam, IIT Madras Dean, Alumni and Corporate Relations stated, “IIT Madras’ partnership with Herbalife and the establishment of Centre of Excellence on Plant Cell Fermentation is an exemplar of how industry and academia can work together to build enduring assets for the nation. With the high-end research facilities at the Centre, we are now confident to push the boundaries of plant cell bioprocessing to translate into solutions for societal impact. We believe this center will not only strengthen India’s self-reliance in sustainable bio-manufacturing, but also create new opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship and global leadership in next-generation plant-derived products.”

Direct selling companies rev up for the FIFA World Cup


The whole world is caught up in the World Cup fever and the same has swept into the direct selling industry as well. Direct selling companies are supporting athletes and fans in their own unique ways. Herbalife has partnered with Cristiano Ronaldo for more than twenty years now and the company shares a framework, “Prepare, Perform, Recover, and Repeat”, for consumers to improve their performance. Herbalife also co-created Herbalife24 CR7 Drive with Cristiano Ronaldo to develop a sports hydration product.

AGNT company rebrand

eXp World Holdings rebrands as AGNT


eXp World Holdings, Inc. announced a new identity with its rebrand to AGNT, Inc. The company now added a franchise model along with its cloud-based brokerage and unites different brands under an agent-based holding structure.

AGNT Inc. Also changed its legal incorporation from Delaware to Texas in order to align operations with its agent-driven business model. The decision was evaluated for over a year by an independent committee of directors and legal advisors.
